Early Childhood Reading

At this time, I have three books. One is designed for beginning readers, which applies the LANGUAGE EXPERIENCE APPROACH. This book for new readers presents visuals and easy to use strategies aiding young readers' discovery of meaning between the printed text and pictures. A reader's prior experiences enhances the reader's comprehension by the pairing of logographic visuals with the printed text.

Learning History & Critical Literacy with Fiction

The second book accomplishes reading and social studies objectives. This second book, for upper elementary readers (4th grade to 6th grade), includes humor and introduces readers to ancient history in a unique blend of story elements with actual historical events, people, buildings, and teachings from ancient history. Ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Rome become alive when the reader uses the Internet based ancient history content supports, illustrations and hyperlinks, to research and study the stories of ancient history.

Learning Homophones Using Humor

The third book uses pictures and humor to help readers compare the most confusing words in ENGLISH--HOMOPHONES. Look at the examples below... ENJOY.
